BFSFA Presentation Night 2010

Written by
Thursday 20th May, Layton Institute. Forget the Oscars, the BIBAS, the BAFTAS, the 'What will Ant n Dec Win This Year TV Awards, and even (at the risk of upsetting one's wag), the Soap Awards. This was the big one -The BFSFA Presentation Night 2010.

"A better class of riff-raff at this year's do" according to suitably imbibed BFSFA Committee Member Dennis 'Grumpy' Peters.

Better bar service this year as well. Shandies all round for this lot

Liam Frend - not on shandy unfortunately - tries out a couple of chairs for size."If I get one cheek on each chair I'll be alright."

Plenty of comedians in the house tonight, but only one was being paid for it. This scouse lad was on for 45 minutes, lasting exactly 44 minutes longer than last year's act.
