The ground of Squires Gate FC was this morning's venue for the Division 2B fixture between No4 Pub FC and early season strugglers Mere Park FC.  The unsettled weather of recent week's had been replaced by a bright and calm autumnal morning.

Not much football on offer in South Fylde yesterday so it was off to Highbury Avenue, Fleetwood in the September sunshine to join a crowd of 1,115 as the home side took on Corby Town FC in the Blue Square North Division.

Any Blackpool FC season ticket holder can enjoy half price entry at Highbury this Saturday on production of their season ticket book at the Highbury ticket kiosk from 12.00pm on Saturday. One ticket per person. Turnstiles open at 12.00pm, as does Jim's Sports Bar which will be showing the Spurs v Man United game straight after Town's Blue Square North encounter with Corby Town.
